I'm just pondering what a douchebag horse looks like!

I spent 3 hours today with two cans of bug remover trying to get Austin's damn huge bugs off the front of the G/F's new car. I then washed it, detailed the engine, and then handwaxed it. Since it was hot, the car wax streaked, so the G/F got mad and told me just to take it to a Julio down the street, because they would do a better job. Well, that pissed me off so I waxed it again, and this time I can finally see my bald spots in the mirror type of finish. No Julio will ever do a wax job like I did....the second time.

Because my butt was sore from sitting on the couch for the last 3 days. Actually, I'm preparing to go to the LA County Fair in a few hours, so I wanted to prepare my body for the heat stroke I will soon have.

I wanted to go but it is too hot and I hate paying 11 bucks for a lemonade.

I just came from the fair. I paid $15 for parking, but today was hero's day, so retired and active cops and military got in for $1.00, and were allowed (1) guest for another buck. I bought (2) glasses of wine for $14, and a bag of toffee peanuts for $5.25, and that was it. I got off cheap! After the sun went down, the weather wasn't too hot, but I was told the place was dead earlier because of the heat.

County fairs are expensive. Even our little fairs here can dent the wallet fast and hard. Still love them, though, as long as the carnies are kept at arms length with the "everybody's a winner!" games. I could spend a fortune at those games and only come home with a plastic spider ring. You know the kind I'm talkin' about.

Today my daughter had an idea for a test in observational skills while I was on the forum. Let's see if anybody notices. This will also test her photography skills as well.

Got a call from my sister that said she was leaving her husband, 115 mile drive later I have just moved her out.

I don't think my area even has a county fair. I had to go out a couple of times to chase the horse off the porch. I still haven't figured out where he got out.

One of my neighbors (the retired flooring guy who now drives a bus) called to say that people spotted my cows out in the hunting club area and he was worried they would get shot. I went out to call my cows and they were in the barnyard. I don't know if someone put them back or if they just went back on their own.

Tomorrow I have to take some friends to another town an hour away so they can do some shopping because we don't have a mall or very many stores here. One of the friends was all excited because she was getting her paycheck and she thought she'd be able to buy us lunch, but then she saw how little money she got (she just got a job at Walmart) and realized that she couldn't afford it. She's going to be able to cover her groceries with food stamps though...

Ugh.. as I was typing this I heard noise on the porch again. The horse... I just fed him not too long ago. He is such a douche.

Meanwhile, I got a family size box of CrunchnMunch butter toffee with peanuts and my mother ate almost the entire box and she just started in on a caramel one (small size that I got for $1). I need to stop getting those because its not good for her diabetes.

I took some more photographs of my bathroom that I will need to upload later.

Changing your avatar will not fool me, silly northern plumber man!

Is this the first time or does it happen often?

I'm glad you were there for her. Not all brothers would do that for their sisters.

My mother is going to go with me today. Speaking of which, she just paged me on the intercom. She needs to get out of the house. We're taking the chiweenie for his vaccinations and getting mail.

LOL, well at least you seemed to accomplish what you were out to do.
