wet sprinklers with dry pendant

Hi experts, we have fire sprinkler system with dry pendants with water from Home Hydrant tank in a small seasonal crew cabin at a remote location. Small setup, 9 heads. When winterized, the tiny amount of water left in a tee is freezing and breaking pendants, requiring keeping building above freezing temperatures all winter long. Is any known type of pendants or design approach more suitable for this hybrid style setup? We are doing a similar seasonal dormitory design at a new location; it would be nice not to repeat those errors.

The easiest approach, while being more expensive, would be to go to a dry system. Best to consult with a fire protection company like Viking.

Unless your system is pitched a you have a way to drain , condensation will always build up, there are pipe drops filled with an anti freeze type solution, we had this issue with a wet system until the affected branches were changed
