That is a hangover I don't miss!

I went down to Chris's neck of the woods yesterday and ate at the Pechanga Buffet. Yeah, it is an Indian Casino, but really good buffet for the money. Afterwards, the g/f got lucky and won almost $400 on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine. Me...I wasn't so lucky.

Here you have kegs of good beer, but yet you feed your guys that swill in the blue labeled bottles. And if that isn't bad enough, you then force them to drink that liquor type stuff.

As soon as they start making money they can have the goods. That and I have to keep to my roots.

Do you sleep? We have comparable lives, and I'm always broke and tired. How do you do it?

I just don't stop! I don't spend money on luxuries like dinner, lunch clothes or any other things normal people do, I spend my money on home remodels and hunting. I hope in the future it pays off.

So this morning I saw one buck, four doe's, three fawns and two bobcats. no kills but a good scout.

If you bag a bobcat I would be interested in buying the pelt from you after it's been treated by a tanner. Let me know.

My makeshift patch job on my fence didn't work (either that or my creatures found another way out) and I got an early morning visit from my jerkwad neighbor. Douchebag horse got loose, went into the neighbor's yard, and somehow died. :(

The neighbor said he would dispose of the body, but he wanted to tell me about it. He was an old horse but I'm still sad about it. I didn't think I would feel so sad. Maybe its in conjunction with finding a dead kitten at my friend's house yesterday...

I wouldn't really be surprised if my neighbor or one of his family members killed the horse. It wouldn't be the first time that they killed an animal that got into their yard and then made up some story about it. They said they saw him grazing in the yard last night but that he was dead this morning.

I'll have to check where I tried to scab the fence to see if that is where he got through.

It kind of puts a damper on my day. I need to do something productive but don't have the energy.

If my horse died at a neighbor's house, and they offered to dispose of the carcass, I would bet they were involved in the death. Sorry, but I would be pissed.

Drove down the mountain to get paid and get my bow worked on, now buying some silver and heading back up to go hunting.

Havasu, I have enough beefs with my neighbor already. I'm beyond the point of being angry with him because it just stresses me out. I don't have any proof that he did anything to the horse. He actually liked the horse and it was the one animal he actually took pretty good care of while we were overseas (because he used the horse to herd his cattle). The horse liked him and he used to lead the horse back to our yard whenever he got loose (partially because he wanted an excuse to come into my yard). I don't think that he personally did anything to the horse, but I suspect his son may have.

He knows I have no way of moving the body myself and he probably doesn't want it stinking up his yard. Every once in awhile the guy will do something nice like give us bails of hay and such. I don't know if he is truly remorseful for all the theft and property damage or if he's just trying to get back on our good side.

The horse was about 30 years old so I didn't expect him to live too much longer, but it was still sad news.

I'm more sad than anything else-- and I wish that I had done a better job of patching the fence so he couldn't get out-- but for all I know, he could have died in my yard instead.

Had to call off, today. I hate doing it, but after the back-to-back doses of dilaudid last night at the ER, I felt hung over as heck this morning...still feeling a bit off right now. Gotta admit though, for pain relief it's the best way to go.:D:eek::D:eek::D:eek::rolleyes:

You need to get that horse. I used to own one, they don't just die.

There's something wrong there.
