Yup. Wonder if my employees will get up for work.
I'm working my guys like slaves today.
My makeshift patch job on my fence didn't work (either that or my creatures found another way out) and I got an early morning visit from my jerkwad neighbor. Douchebag horse got loose, went into the neighbor's yard, and somehow died.
The neighbor said he would dispose of the body, but he wanted to tell me about it. He was an old horse but I'm still sad about it. I didn't think I would feel so sad. Maybe its in conjunction with finding a dead kitten at my friend's house yesterday...
I wouldn't really be surprised if my neighbor or one of his family members killed the horse. It wouldn't be the first time that they killed an animal that got into their yard and then made up some story about it. They said they saw him grazing in the yard last night but that he was dead this morning.
I'll have to check where I tried to scab the fence to see if that is where he got through.
It kind of puts a damper on my day. I need to do something productive but don't have the energy.
I took my two girls and my new grandson out to dinner last night. We had a great time!
