So my 5 am truck has not shown up yet. I called and they said another hour. How does a first am delivery get behind.

I would be highly annoyed. Of course, I think I've mentioned here before that I constantly have repair guys not show up on time (or at all). It's rather frustrating.

Right now my air conditioner isn't working properly. It's making a lot of wind noise but air is not being pushed through the vents and I don't know wtf the problem is. Called the guy who put the AC in and got an answering machine. I left a message yesterday morning and still have not heard back from him.

It's frustrating.

Also, the Grate Stuff seems to have helped at least a little bit.

I got bored and took a picture under my kitchen sink. Its not as bad as I remembered, but I don't think its quite right.

I'm currently trying to make sense of the plumbing codes I found online in a .pdf file. I keep finding stuff for commercial buildings but am trying to weed out rules for residential homes.

The that whole thing is s trapped. There's no vent coming off the top like there should be. Plumbing codes are like reading a legal book, most of it is hard to understand without the plumbing knowledge and education. And I'd personally do a continous waste rather than two traps, looks better as well.

First day back at work after Vegas. Spent all my American money, gambled a bit away. Good trip overall and I'll definitely come back next year.

Any diagrams somewhere of what it should look like?

Not being vented properly explains why it drains so slowly and why one side starts to fill up when the other is draining.

The thing in the building code thing that gets me is referencing previous references that reference other references and it jumps around a lot. Plus I'm having a hard time weeding out rules for private homes vs commercial buildings. I'm also not familiar with all of the terminology such as "indirect waste". I'm assuming that is stuff like the water that comes out of a dehumidifier or air conditioner.

The vent rules start around page 2859 of the .pdf file.

I've been taking notes on things that I think are pertinent to my house. The next time I have a plumber out I will have certain parts printed out for him as a little reminder. :p

Not to be harsh, but it is every bit as bad as you remember.

LOL! I thought it had more loops and stuff under there. At one point it got clogged and I couldn't get a snake to go down so I took it all part and cleaned it all out and then stuck the snake down the lower pipe to break the clog loose. As you can see, I idiot labeled everything so I could put it back together just the way it was before. I remember it was one convoluted mess.

Airconditioning people just came out and said it was leaking coolant a little on the outside unit. I asked what would cause it and if there was anything I could do to prevent further leaks. He told me that they just start to leak and such as they age. I said "It was installed only two years ago". I need to find the documentation bc I'm pretty sure it had a 5 to 10 year warranty when we bought it. They didn't stick around to make sure everything cooled off in the house though. One of the guys wasn't feeling well so they took the $145 and left.

Havasu, that looks delicious. Is there a Sam Choi's in that area? If so, I recommend it. I don't know if they still have it, but they used to have a meal with a filet mignon with shiitake mushroom cream sauce and lobster with clarified butter.

Today I went to a Doc and found out I'm allergic to a med the prescribed me and it's going to be three days before it's out of my system and I can't take pepto to deal with it.

My wife and kids are leaving for the weekend. It's going to be a long one.

Thanks, Stevemachine! I'd have to figure out how the whole vent part would work. It would require messing with the walls.

Austin, oh man, I hate when that happens. I'm allergic to sulfa (sp?) drugs. I found that out the hard way. I broke out in a rash over my entire body, my face was swollen, and I had some trouble breathing. It sucked. My onion allergy gave me stomach problems that had me nearly incapacitated for four days straight. In short, allergies suck. I hope you get feeling better soon.

So today I went over to my friend's vacant house to feed the cats and discovered that the back door was busted in. The doorjamb was broken so now it won't lock/stay closed properly.

The back window was broken in as well. I think someone broke the window trying to climb in there, but the window dropped like a guillotine. There was no blood though.

I called the owner and then called the police. They didn't seem too interested. I told them someone had forced their way in before but not done any damage and nothing was missing. It seems they wanted to sleep there or something.

Cops said it was probably some punk kids, took some pictures, had me fill out a form, and left.

Also, one of my cats caught a half grown rabbit so I had to take it away. The cat tried to fight me on it and was literally jumping up in the air trying to get it back. I tossed it outside (because I didn't want dead rabbit being dissected on my kitchen floor) and my rottweiler got it.

I got stung by a bee two days ago and my finger is still swollen where I got hit. Am I gonna die?

Get the rubber room ready.

I'm thinking a rubber suit so I can still venture into the scary world but minimize my chances at getting hurt.

Probably, I am a Doctor.
