I'm just looking forward to a weekend off. Got 52 hours this week, and I was on call last week. Time for some beers and relaxation.

My brother has bronchitis and walking pneumonia. My mother is having problems with the membranes over her lenses clouding over so I'm the only one able to drive and I've been feeling a bit under the weather. I went to Walmart and felt like I was going to pass out so I used one of the powered carts for handicapped customers. My brother decided to take one as well and tried to race me and several times pretended it was a go-cart and rammed me. Opening freezer doors and reaching some of the stuff was a challenge, but we got everything we were looking for and then headed back home.

We almost stopped at Sonic but we're still a bit miffed at them for the recent run of bad service. Such as:
Ordered 5 piece chicken strips and only got 4 pieces several times.
Ordered the chocolate fudge shake and they charged extra for the fudge (but its supposed to be included with the shake) and they barely put any fudge in it.
The cherry on the shake was rotten (about the 5th time we've had rotten cherries from there)
My mother requested a rt 44 diet strawberry limeade with extra strawberries, no ice, and no limes. They gave her non-diet, charged for strawberries twice, and it had limes.
Requested honey mustard dipping sauce but they gave us BBQ sauce instead.

I don't even want to order from them anymore but my mother likes their overpriced chicken strips. They smell delicious but don't taste as good as they smell.

Today I'm going to have to go feed the cats at my late friend's house. A bunch of them disappeared and now there are only 4 that show up. I feel bad for the poor kitties. They used to get fed canned food every day and now they just get dried cat chow (I had been feeding over 10 cats so I was putting out so much that it was lasting them 3 days). Now I put out enough to last them a couple of days and make sure they have water. I come by every other day.

Today, today I am warding off an infection that is making it's way through my home. Tomorrow we will see how well I did.

Today I have filed for a new contractors license for my corporation, Filed a bunch of paperwork and now gonna BBQ a couple hot dogs and have a beer with lunch.

Just finalizing some details on the house my wife and I bought. Packing and all that fun stuff, not excited for the moving when it's all said and done it'll be nice to have a brand new house.

I didn't do much today except for physical therapy, went to my old workplace and shot my gun to once again receive my concealed weapon permit, and then fixed broken sprinklers at the house I use to live at, which is occupied by my ex. I'm such a sucker.

There's a maintenance clause in your divorce?

Today I am stripping the extra fuel tank and tool box from my diesel and putting them on my grey truck to officially make it a work truck, then to put another new water pump in the diesel and wash it to make it my personal truck for a while until I buy a new one which will probably never happen.

Not much today. Checked out a job to remove a bunch of tubs. Gonna start tomorrow, love the demo part of the job.

Went to pull the water pump on one of the diesels and it turned out to be the pulley itself fell apart. Twice the cost of the pump and special order. I guess I could weld it back together and just wait and see if it lasts?

I'm headed out here in a bit to do some yard work with a friend of mine (care to guess who?). Something about a mountain of brush that needs to be burned. Sounds like fun to me.

Going to enjoy some of the fresh cookies my neighbor gave to me for planting her tomato and pepper plants. A few beers are in the forecast for later.

Asphalt contractor hit an 1 1/4" medium pressure gas line this morning with the backhoe. Can't get mad though I didn't even know the line was there and was only 8" deep. Got it capped and the hospital is back up.

I worked on another broken sprinkler at the "ex's" place, then came home to find the air conditioner was out. Crap....service man enroute, so there goes another couple hundred bucks!
