Sorry to hear about your truck. My truck got owned last year by a falling tree branch during a storm. :-(
I need to find a good replacement that is reliable with 4WD but gets good gas mileage. I would like to have the backup sensors on it that warn me if I get too close to something, but I don't know how much that would cost. Has to be automatic transmission since I never learned to drive manual.
Anyone know what trucks are good? I won't be using it for anything heavy duty, but it will have to go on unpaved roads.
Technically it was yesterday, I went over to check on my late friend's house and feed the cats. The cat we call "Mama Cat" was flipping out and desperately trying to get in. When I opened the door I heard a kitten screaming and it sounded like it was in the house. I followed the sound to the bathroom and it was coming from inside the wall. I realized the wall had a cabinet door on it. Opened it up to reveal the air conditioner and right next to it was a screaming kitten. I have no idea how the kitten got in. It's not even old enough to really walk much. It can't even eat solid food. I called the widow of my friend who told me that kittens used to get in from the roof, so she thinks the cat took the kitten onto the roof and it fell down a vent or something. If I hadn't found the poor baby it would have died in there. I hope no more of them fell down there.
I took the kitten outside to a safe warm place (there is a building in the yard with an open door that once served as a fish shop where I feed the kitties) and put the kitten down near some food. Mama Cat ate and then started taking care of it.
The day before I spent all day waiting for a technician from my ISP to come out and see what was wrong with my satellite dish but he never showed up and there was a communication fail. The guy showed up today and it turned out the original installer used the wrong connectors so water got in. My ISP is going to charge me $95 for the service call even though the equipment is all under warranty. I'm going to dispute with billing about it since it was on their end-- they told me had it just been like a storm or act of nature that had caused a problem I would have to foot the bill, but since it was installer error it should be covered. I'm waiting to hear back from them.
