Yup power is gone this morning around 7 (just below charlotte nc) in sc.

So, besides your power being out, did anyone sustain much damage in SC?
Oh, the news always shows the worst devastation they can find. Trees smushing houses, a few few people being killed by the trees commi g down. But there is terrible flooding going on. I've seen videos of tractor trailers being swept away, even a house going down the river. Lots of houses being flooded from rivers and lakes overflowing .so in short, yes I believe there is a lot.
I also saw alot of flooding and damage in Ashville, NC. I just stayed there last year for a few days. That is really a beautiful area and they said even downtown was partially submerged. What a shame.
I saw a video if chimney rock, it's gone... don't know where the water came from to wash it all out.
Horribly sad indeed.
And really nothing we can do to help.. it's just so vast
