I wondered why they did a kidney function test before they contrasted me. Now I know. Not to mention, it is bad for kidneys!

yes, it was JB, except he is still upending this country...Born and raised an American.
Grew up pledging allegiance to the flag and nation for which it stands.
Our nation is defined by the Constitution - without it, the flag is a piece of cloth.
I took my pledge seriously and still do - supporting our laws and Constitution.
OTOH, we know who put his hand on a bible and swore an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution and then tried to overturn the 2020 election.
Some months back, Havasu noted he/she would keep politics off the forum but then threw in the 'FJB' - I will NEVER let a comment deleterious to my nation go without making a response.
Lived in many places, CA, AZ, UT, SD, MT, MN.So are your living in SoCal or Minnesota? Thank you for being an American where, for the most part, we are still free to express our opinions.
Thought about making or buying one of those, but there just to darn heavy for me now days.Just got a new tuned pipe for my "Tim the Tool Man Taylor"-modified leaf blower. Darn that thing sounds good when it gets up to rpm!
Going to be a collector's item soon. Mine weighs about six pounds "wet".I

I see those smelly Bumpass Hounds hit up your place as well. Make sure the Chinese turkey is not smiling at you!I'm seriously thinking of getting chinese takeout but the place is an hour away. I've heard it is the traditional Jewish Xmas dinner. LOL.
Sounds like things are on the upswing for you all. You did pique my interest regarding your toaster... Mine has been less then adeauate lately. Would you mind sharing the brand and model? TnxI don't really do the whole Xmas thing, but Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays, whatever holiday people celebrate or refrain from celebrating.
My sister asked for a specific mug for Xmas so I ordered it. She got me a toaster and a cover for the toaster. Its probably the best toaster we've had. Cooks evenly, has a display that says how long it will take to cook, lights up to show what setting is on, etc. The cover protects it from cats. Only negative about it is the cord is extremely short, but that's OK with me. I unplug it and put it away when not in use. Really need to clean off some counters so I can move it to a better spot though.
Mom has been recovering. Her blood sugar is still all over the place but it's not as bad as it had been. I saw her walking down the hallway and it was the fastest she's moved in weeks. She no longer has to stop and rest on her way to and from the living room and her bedroom. Her appetite has improved. I made mashed potatoes mixed with rotisserie chicken and she had 2nds and then ate the leftovers. Still trying to get the hang of the insulin, but I'm doing better on testing her blood sugar. I'm trying to pick the right times to check so I don't disturb her sleep. Got some emergency glucose tabs for when her sugar gets too low.
Fippy has been delighted that she's home. If he's in my room when she calls me for something he starts wagging his tail, crawling toward me, and sort of snorting in excitement. Then he spins in circles and heads off toward her room. I did have to move the dog stairs so Mom didn't trip on them again. It's a little harder for Fippy to get up on her bed but not having her trip is worth it. She tripped and fell the other day.
Been having issues with the jet pump. Water has gone out 2x in the last week. Both times I went out and gave a little tug on the cable to the pressure switch of the jet pump and it kicked on, although it rapid cycled on off on off. Not sure if the switch is going or if the pressure tank is shot and I'm afraid I'll derp and manage to break more pipes if I try to mess with it. The guy who used to do the well service no longer returns my calls. But at least it's still running for now.
I need to take trash out but my guts aren't cooperating so I can't bend or lift right now. At least not until the Pepto kicks in. I'm seriously thinking of getting chinese takeout but the place is an hour away. I've heard it is the traditional Jewish Xmas dinner. LOL.
Twowax couldn't handle it!In the middle of a blizzard, could get 12" of snow. That doesn't sound that bad, but you add 40 mph wind.
Plus , I have a dog that just got knee surgery. Have to take her out in the this crap and stand until she does her job. I know... waaTwowax couldn't handle it!
