I just noticed that you have filters attached to the box fans. That's a great idea! Does it work well?

It helped but I don’t know how much. It definitely trapped some dust. Those filters are $20 each

We also used a shop vac with a hepa rating filter system attached. My help held the shop vac at the point of demolition. This caught a lot of dust,

Having a helper is definitely a plus. I usually don't have one. :(

Most of the time helpers are more trouble than they’re worth. They either require too much instruction or they think they know what to do and end up causing you more work.

You can’t teach common sense.

I have a pretty good helper though. $35 an hour gets you good help where I live. Everyone else wants to pay $15-20 and they end up with drug addicts or a teenager.

Tub and tub faucet going in tomorrow. I’m also installing some dead wood for future grab bar support.

Then I’m finished until the tile surround and floor are installed, I don’t do that. Then I’ll come back and install the tub trim and the toilet flange and toilet.

Great job!

I have a subscription to the filters for my hvac. Reminds me, I need to change them. Never thought of doing that with box fans but looks like a good idea.

Looking good! What kind of valve is that?
Delta r10000 rough valve with a cartridge installed. The plastic guide and black plastic protector are installed.

In a week or two I’ll be back to install the toilet and faucet trim.

Ah, I recognize that valve. LOL. Might be from a Monitor series. Got a similar one for two of our showers. Mom is getting a Moentrol in hers. Speaking of her bathroom, I went in to snag some TP rolls to move to my bathroom (she stores a bunch in hers) and the toilet is absolutely disgusting. I'm not looking forward to cleaning that. Might get a picture later. It is so gross. I'm sure you guys in the trades have seen worse, but ugh. I clean my own toilet regularly so it doesn't get like that. Granted, I have the Sanagloss finish on mine, but still...
