I Have a really old house and want to replace my lever for my shower. Its a delta 600 series im told. Does my new one absolutely HAVE to be a delta? Or can I use say a moen with the 2 screws on the bottom? Asking because 90% of the deltas i can find online (amazon, walmart, google, menards, lowes) they mostly have the screws on the sides diagonally.. obviously i cant use any of those.. am I just really limited because of my very old house cuz delta doesnt really make them with the screws on the bottom anymore it seems? Is there a possible way to get the ones with diagonal screws and switch to an escutcheon plate with the two screws on bottom?
