Well pump discharge connector

Well pump discharge connection was corroded and leaking. The connector broke off soon after extracting the pump. I am having trouble removing the connector piece still on the pump. Since I did not install the well, I just want to be sure I am removing the right part. I would appreciate it if you could confirm that the black part in the picture below with the red arrow should be removed. I am putting a lot of force on it to unscrew but it is not budging. Any suggestions on how to remove it are appreciated.

Yes it unscrews. But it is just a bushing. Should be brass or stainless anyway. Just get a new one.

Electrolysis of the galvanized and brass or SS pump discharge has eaten most of the galvanized bushing. Makes it hard to unscrew. The trick is to use a pipe vice with a chain to hold where the white tag is on the top of the pump. A backup wrench on the flats will squeeze the pump discharge and make it impossible to unscrew. I have seen them so bad that I just used a chisel and hammer to cut the bushing into pieces to get it out.
