And I'm always thinking of the cost. My neighbor has an older electronic protection because his big family runs the well dry quite often, but he has to go downstairs and reset it manually.

The Cycle Sensor has a simple timer to restart the pump. It can be set for up to 5 hours. But normally they are set for about 20 minutes to restart the pump, which will usually at least let the toilets fill and small amounts of water be used without having to wait any longer.
