I did breing it up to the HOA head guy. Zanne, all condensing appliances produce acidic condensate.

I agree and would like to add that all gas burning water heaters produce acidic condensate, condensing heaters produce more because they’re more efficient.

That drill requires I use an ice pack for my wrist. It’s clutched but still Janks your ass when it binds up

The fronts of these Rinnai units are thin like a coke can. They’re still great machines.

My thumb made this little dent. Hard to see in person but the camera makes it shine like new money.

How much do the Rinnai heaters run? My friend needs a new water heater and was thinking of going to tankless.
His current one has a small hole because the city workers busted a waterline that flooded the street & his yard and the water flow was so strong it knocked over his stand for the water heater, the water heater fell and got punctured.

The leak was left unfixed for too long and ended up undermining the soil in the area and sinkholes are opening up. Street has been closed for months due to the breach & sink holes.

How much do you suspect that copper will get you at a salvage yard?
I’m not sure what scrap number 2 is going for right now. A couple months ago it was around $3 a pound for anything under 100 pounds. Over 100 pounds pays a little more per pound.

So at $3 a pound it would be about 5lbs of copper. $15
