Milk is bad for cats. It gives them diarrhea. I dumped it out. I suspect improper handling before it is put out for sale that lessens the life.
That's good to know. Amazing the things you can find our on this forum and lactose intolerance in cats is one of those things. That being said, I must be half cat.

What brand and type of video card is in your current PC? Depending on the bus type of your PC, I may have one lying around that you could have.

BlueSkyHigh, it's a something Vega.... I'm not sure.. It's old. But I already picked out what video card I want. I love playing with graphics so I want something that can handle it.

I'd actually wanted a slightly better one that was $10 more but pcpartspicker said it was 2mm too long to fit in my case. Wanted the Gigabyte Gaming RTX 3060 12Gb OC with triple fans but settled for Gigabyte Eagle RTX 3060 12GB OC. The Versus website listed the Eagle as better than the other options. My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ZJDiy/saved/B6T9K8

I've already ordered the case (ordered it before I did the build) and the mainboard. Mainboard went on sale under $200 so I snagged it. But I found amazon is charging me the full tax for the city but I live outside the city. So, paying 10.45% sales tax. Ugh.

Cats can drink feline milk but they can't properly digest cow's milk. Not sure about goat's milk or sheep milk though. People who are lactose intolerant can sometimes drink goat's milk without a problem. While we're on the subject of foods that are bad for animals: Corn is bad for cows. It can actually kill them.

I did some laundry, brought stuff in from the truck, researched computer parts, scraped some excess caulk off the shower walls, took photos of product boxes of stuff used in my bathroom so I can check for future reference, & cooked for Mom.

Interesting website to assist in building a computer.

We used to give our two cats small bits of raw beef from time to time. It was amazing the transformation that came over those two all-black domesticated loving purring kitties when there was raw beef to be had! They would immediately start growling and snarling and wouldn't let my wife or I get anywhere near them while they were eating the meat. After the meat was gone, their normal dispositions immediately returned. I guess it was their ancestral instincts surfacing.

When my family farmed and raised beef cattle, we used to feed them field corn all the time. We even gave them corn cobs to eat which they seemed to enjoy as well.

Congratulations on 18 years. In these days that is an accomplishment.

I wonder if its the type of corn then? I was watching Dr. Pol and someone's cow died from eating corn. Something about it causing something wrong in the stomach. I know they have "corn fed beef" though.

Another site I found is Compatible cpu coolers with Asus PRIME Z690-P WIFI D4 (that was from my search to see what CPU fans would fit). I've decided to go with a different fan as the one I had on my list will get in the way of the RAM slots. The pcpartpicker has a disclaimer that they don't know the measurements of the fans & motherboards for fitment.

Congrats on 18yrs anniversary!

I met up with my friend this evening to spot him for some gas & groceries as he hasn't received his paycheck yet. Talked to him about his Mom and it turns out the drugs the cops "found" were not hers. They were planted on her by the cops. Normally I wouldn't believe that, but the cops in my town are notorious for it. They've done it to other people I know. The drugs weren't even the type she uses. They were hoping that it would make her squeal on other people. I told my friend to tell her to request the bodycam and dashcam footage from the cops. I remember there was a case (not in my town) awhile back where the bodycam caught the cop planting drugs in a vehicle. The lawyer of that defendant requested the bodycam footage of that cop going back over a year and found something like 30+ incidents of him planting drugs.

There are two things my town is known for: Drugs and corrupt cops. It's common knowledge that the biggest drug dealer in town is a cop and that he and his cronies plant drugs on people who bought their drugs from other buyers.

Set up Samsclub pickup for 8am to 9pm knowing it wouldn't be ready in that timeframe. Sometime after 10am I got notification it was ready. Drove up there with my brother and stopped to eat at Flying Wok (formerly called Panda but they had to change the name because a Panda Express opened and people kept confusing the two). They had a ton of watermelon so that was my dessert. Stopped at post office for mail.

Took a nap when I got home and now I'm about to take my evening meds.

Hmmm! One of my sons has lived on a hobby farm for years and has always fed cows milk to his cats. No issues t

Yep. After we ran our raw milk through the separator, the cats and chickens all loved the foamy stuff that was left after getting the cream and the milk.

Read up-- if you plan to slaughter your cows for beef and they live a short time you can feed them corn but it makes them sick. How Does Eating a Lot of Corn Affect Cows?

Maybe some cats can tolerate it more than others. Might build up a tolerance for it. But vets and animal experts say not to feed cow's milk to cats. And I have found via experience that it gives them the runs. Vet Q&A: Can cats drink milk?

My friend told me that they are really trying to screw his mother over. Not only did they frame her for drug possession, but they set her trial date for this coming Monday morning. No time to prepare or talk to a lawyer. The lawyers are closed on weekends and they didn't notify her until after the lawyer's office closed today. If she got the lawyer I think, he'll just tell her he won't bother to defend her and accept a plea deal on her behalf without asking her. If its the other lawyer, he may not even bother to show up for court. She needs to get an extension and request the bodycam footage from the cops. She has no time to subpoena the evidence in time for the trial. They didn't even give her the opportunity to request a jury trial. She was already arraigned. They never seem to have cases go this fast. They took almost 3 years for my brother's case.

I smelled some electrical burning in my room and the source seemed to be the power strip my computer was plugged into. I shut my computer down, unplugged the power strip. Unplugged the computer cable-- which was stuck bc I think the socket was melting, and then went to the store to get a new power strip and computer plug.

Stopped by TSC to get feed for the cows-- sweet feed and hay with molasses. Kwai was drooling all over the sweetfeed bag before I could cut it open. On the upside, I found the crescent stubby ratcheting screwdriver with in-handle storage back in stock. Mine broke (due to me derping and pulling too hard so the wrong end came off and parts flew out). Grabbed a couple more just in case.

It was hot as hell outside too.

Planning.

Not to be morbid, but I’ve contacted the mortuary that has been involved in my family’s post life here on this mortal coil’s plane of existence provider and have begun to make “plans”. We all will face this and planning makes perfect sense, right?

While my father had life insurance and a will, he died suddenly and we had no preparation.
My best friend's father didn't have a will, life insurance, or anything when he passed. As a result, my friend got screwed out of a house he was supposed to inherit. He was the only offspring, but somehow his mother (who was never married to his dad) had his dad's name taken off the deed to the house and had it put solely in her name. The grandmother had wanted to leave it to my friend, but she also didn't have a will.

I've seen families fall apart bickering over assets.

As an aside, I remember some elderly friends telling me how it used to be customary to gift burial plots to people as wedding or anniversary gifts. One of my late friends already had his funeral plot and his wife's funeral lot purchased by the time they were 50. Another received 3 burial plots as gifts and sold one but kept the other 2 for himself and his wife. It may seem morbid, but its good to plan ahead.

I was absolutely wiped out today for no apparent reason. Just couldn't keep up the energy to do anything and when I tried, my coordination was so off I kept stumbling and dropping things.

We have a family plot in a small cemetery in south central Nebraska. On the back side of the marker for my Dad and Mom there is space for another name or two. There is also space for a cigar box full of ashes along side or atop of the then more traditional burial method in a casket or coffin. We've decided that we are going to have the stone carver put my name on the back side with my B.O.D. there with a space left for the D.O. date when that occurs. Because we are genetically predisposed to living well past 100 years, the mortician said jokingly "I'll see you in about twenty-five years if I can make it that long!"

Both of my parents had the 'service' paid for with their small life insurance policies. I did the set up for both. And after an unexpected death of Uncle I had to set that up during a power outage of 6 days. Cousins just sat there and agreed with what I was setting up. Aunt was in hospital. (was after April 27th, 2011 tornadoes).

I need to set up my wishes.
One thing, a larger casket for burial in 2011 cost $800 more than a regular sized casket.

Also, do you have a plot to be buried into, or if cremated is someone getting them and knows what to do with them.
