Got ten miles out and one of my trailer brakes froze almost locked up, made it back home and just disassembled the thing and now back on the road with no trailer brakes. Only a few hours later then planned.
 
Saw a nasty boat accident at the dock today. Another guy launched the same time I did and we were both floating around waiting on the drivers to come back from parking the trucks. He got close to me so I floored it in reverse to get out of his way, he then made his way over to the temporary parking dock. When he was about twenty feet away he floored it and hit the dock and a lady flew out in between the two then he hit it again and then another boat before he stopped. I flew over there along with a guy in a fishing boat who was a doc thinking that lady had to be dead. We got there and she was floating under the dock, alive and kicking. There was also another lady laying on the floor of the boat. Turns out they were both ok, the one that flew out was pretty banged up and bleeding from several places but otherwise seemed ok, the one in the boat said she was ok to. We didn't leave for 15-20 minutes when the paramedics showed up.

I guess the guy had never run a boat before but told his buddy he could park it for him. Thought he was hitting reverse and was wrong.
 
So I just had the cops called on me at the hotel because the baby is teething and was screaming for twenty minutes or so. That was embarrassing
 
Tell me about it. I opened the door to like five people standing there, cops, a security guard and some other employees
 
Made it home after a long day of driving. Decided against sitting in Vegas traffic and cruised down through Laughlin to check out the River Run then put by the Avi Casino and take the I40 home. Great drive and am now getting almost 10 MPG in my truck towing which is 3 mpg better then it used to before gearing, intake and exhaust.
 
Glad to hear that you and the family made it home safely. Did you see lots of Harleys out there?
 
Yeah more then I wanted to. Some of those guys need to learn how to drive. A lot of nice bikes tho.

Just keep your eyes down and never connect. That's what I do! I would have handed the cops the baby.
 
I thought about it but when they showed up she was done crying and happy, kinda confused them.
