I just don’t agree with directly connecting HVAC equipment to the sanitary sewer system. It’s yours and I believe in freedom. ✌️

Secondary drain should’ve already been there. Smart move to add it.

Listerine is friggin' useless. It only kills bacteria for a few seconds and then it grows right back. My father took a microbiology class from a local college (for his own edification) and as an experiment he grew bacteria in Listerine. Every dentist I've ever been to said the over-the-counter stuff is useless. You're better off using 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/water mix for 45 seconds or getting a prescription mouthwash.

I keep my toothbrush in a plastic toothbrush container inside a zipped plastic bag. It probably holds the moisture in, but it keeps the toilet spray out.

Havasu, yikes. Is that black mold? OSB is a terrible substrate for flooring. Some flooring installers won't put flooring over it or won't warranty their work if they do. Might want to put some luan over it and a moisture barrier on top of that. That way, if there is a leak you can pull up the floorboards and dry it out instead of letting it damage the floor. I plan to put a moisture barrier under my vinyl plank in the laundry room.

I think that mouthwash is what my dentist prescribed. I have prescription toothpaste as well. We have a hydrofloss thingy but its my brother's and I think he lost parts to it. I got some good flossers from Samsclub and I also got the little brushes that go between teeth. Those are fantastic.

I'm overdue for my cleaning. I need to see how much of the antibiotic I have left. I have to take a high dose of antibiotics before any cleaning bc of my prolapsed valves.

Trying to keep my sugar in check but I keep battling with my urge for chocolate and carbs. LOL. I need to eat more broccoli and try to get myself to like avocado bc it is supposed to help lower blood sugar.

Random thought: What happens if the tap gets left on or if this leaks? No drain necessary?

Yes, it’ll flood.

It has two stop valves, one at the wall and one on the end of the spout.

When I do them I also install a valve under the kitchen sink.

It writes of a condensate line, but I don't see it anywhere .
Very common in this area to drop a condensation line to the top of the laundry room box on new construction. It’s generally done on single story homes where there’s the HVAC system in the attic, OR on two story homes with laundry on the second floor. The photo is from Oatey; there may be knock-outs on the top of the box. I’ve seen plenty of them installed, but none with an official air gap part, they just terminate the pipe about an inch below the top of the box.

Havasu, is that a tuppwerware bowl in the wall?

I had to change out the float filler for the water trough since the old one died. Probably clogged up but I didn't want to mess with it. It was over a decade old. New one was easy to put on at least. Cows were happy. I'll have to check later to make sure it is stopping when it should and not overflowing.

Yes, that is to catch the condensate when the tape doesn't hold, until the A/C gets his ass in the attic and fixes the issue permanently.

Ahh. Ok. Good plan. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Also, isn't it nice how easy you can pull up vinyl plank? You should post that on the flooring forums. :)

Those guys are experts. They would probably die laughing and my amateur installation!

By the way, i purchased waterproof concrete backer board, that i will be installing with thinset, so there will not be any future rot. The last few years the smell of mold under the LVT was getting bad. Since it has been removed, there is no smells anymore.

Masterful!

Here's a PSA that I couldn't resist posting: "My Pillow Mike" has now branched out into the coffee business. "My Coffee" is sourced from Honduras, is certified (whatever that means) and is now 25% off.
Every person on fox is selling something.

Focus factor
Super beets
Balance of nature
My pillow ( weirdo )

All the hosts write books.

It’s ridiculous

Mike Huckleberry is weird too, so strange.

Mike Huckabee can’t decide if he’s a politician, host, Baptist preacher or “ as seen on tv “ pitch man.

Now he’s trying to send things out to kids ? So weird

Please Mike……go home and enjoy your life. Get off TV

Fox needs to get rid of :
Tyrus
Greg Gutfeld
Greg thinks being inappropriate is funny. He’s like a 7 yr old.

Jessie Watters needs to quit trying so hard.

Hannity needs to cut the monotone robot type ranting out.
He needs to call more republican lawmakers out for sitting back and not trying everything they can to get the border under control. I can’t watch his show at all.

I quit watching fox and friends all together.

Disagree entirely but, of course, with all due respect. Those two are national treasures and, yes, he's never grown up and neither have I. The question I have is what did Joe Mache do to be banned from the show? I miss that guy!

It's all about the hair! I think his hair is even better than Nancy's cousin Gavin's.

I've never watch Hannity and don't like Tucker.

I watch it sort of like I listen to elevator music F&F is not where I would go for Bible study thank you very much Ms. Ainsley.

(I tried my best to not respond but the "gauntlet" that Twowax threw down was simply irresistible.)
