Hello,
I have new work being done in an addition to my house. I see he used these repair clamps. I thought these were for temporary fixes. Is this acceptable on new work? I am talking about the black wrap around clamps directly below the valve. Thanks in advance.

They’re fine and actually reduce vibration from the pump. That’s your check valve and they come with it.

Thanks. There’s a few short cuts this guy has taken and I didn’t know enough to really trust the rest.

Will they leave an access panel for that check valve
