That is what I used, and explained this to him. I just called the service writer, confirmed my car is inside the shop, out of the rain, and waiting on the new ECU, which will be picked up under warranty. It should take 1 week to get the new ECU and install it.

I'm going out on a limb and saying I have lost all trust in my Lexus. I believe I got a lemon. I love the Lexus brand, so I will be speaking to the GM and asking to work with me on taking my car in trade for the new RX500 hybrid F Sport. This is what my loaner is. It is a high performance car, still good gas mileage, but Tesla fast. I may spend more money, but I really don't care.

I had a great relationship with Lexus. I started out with an SC-400, moved on to a GS-300, then a GS-350, an SC-430 (that the guys on Top Gear called the worst car ever made) and finally an RC-F before I went with a Dodge Charger Hellcat. Now it’s two Jeeps and I am so bored!
