I’m curious about something. Everywhere I have lived for years with my wife have had way too high water pressure in the apartment or home. (100-110 psi) We’re on our second home now. I didn’t do anything about the first house, but I did on this one. I brought it down to 70psi.
I have learned the importance of expectation management over the years, so before I embarked on this project, I told my wife that normal pressure will feel unusual for her since she has always been used to excessive pressure. She voiced understanding, but since I lowered it, constant complaints.
To be clear, everything is functioning as expected. All fixtures giving 70 psi now.
How often do you guys get complaints like this after installing these?

the plumbing code says that 100 psi is too much 75 psi is good , some of the problems with high water pressure is
toilet ballcocks can not close off against high pressure, saftey valve of hot water tanks will leak . valve seats and washer will score . just a few

Oh I’m aware…. Now convince my wife. I was just curious how many people call and complain after you reduce it to what it should be.
