Hi all,
I currently have a pH neutralizer which feeds into a water softener, to an aeration tank, then to a UV light then goes to the house. I recently had my water tested, both raw and from a faucet (hardness wasn't included in the tap water test). Since the hardness of the raw water is pretty low (56.3), I was thinking about setting my water softener to bypass mode, plus I was wondering if the water softener could be attributing to the spike in sodium from the raw water to tap water? My potential only concern is that I was reading that a pH neutralizer can greatly increase the hardness of your water and you should use a water softener when using a pH neutralizer so I was hoping for from processional advise here.
Thanks!
