This just started... The drain for the water softener will overflow (not sealed I guess) and spill on to the basement floor...
We have a full unfinished basement
We didn't know why it was happening at first but I was down there when it started happening recently
I asked what everyone was doing and someone was using the shower while someone else flushed the toilet and I believe the clothes washing machine was going as well
At the same time that the water was spilling onto the floor in the basement, water formed in front of the washing machine on the second floor... Probably just a few ounces...The drain is dry, the wall under it is too, and all of the connections on the back of the washer are dry...
Any idea what would be causing it to overflow? And cause the water in front of the washing machine?
