I have noticed water pooling at the wall and floor joint just outside my bathroom shower. I checked carefully to make sure it just did not splash out and on to the floor but that was not the case. It is enough water to seep under the wall and pool up in the room on the other side of the wall. When I removed the base board it was easy to see it was coming out the joint at the wall and floor. Here is the strange thing. I can dry it up with a towel and no more leak. I ran several test and it does not pool up while I'm running the shower... it only when I turn off the shower that about a minute or so later I see the water. The shower seem to drain fine. At first I thought it might be a busted water line in the foundation but that would leak all the time as long at the water was on at the street. I also thought maybe a partially clogged main drain but the shower seems to drain fine. I went up in the attic to see if there was any water lines leak and maybe running down the walls but no sign of water up there. Again, it only leaks after I run the shower for a while and then about a minute or so after I turn the water off, I see the water pool up. Anyone ever see something like this before??
