Is it possible a strong vibration could loosen or break a toilets supply line. I knocked over a lamp when I was Leaving for vacation in the dark and it was loud enough to wake my neighbor below. Next thing I know I get a call from my landlord saying my apartment had flooded as well as the one below. Any insight is appreciated.

Probably a coincidence. Leaks often occur for no apparent reason and more often when it causes the most inconvenience.
There are quite a few things that can lead to a leak like this. Any kind of constant vibrations, water hammer, pressure fluctuations and of course unintentional damage in the dark!
