There was a very tiny gap in a section of silicone on our newly installed bathtub between the wall and the tub. It's small, but big enough I can almost fit my finger nail in. We took a shower in the tub around 4 times before discovering the gap. The gap is also near to the shower head. The contractor since sealed up the gap since and said I don't need to worry, cuz any water that might have gotten in, will sit on the lip of the tub and not touch the wall.
Is this true? And if so, where is the water gonna go?
Should I peel back the silicone to inspect and re-apply just to be safe?
