This system was cleaned pumped about three years ago which is good. New to us house from 1994. A few things I've found and not found since we purchased the home.

I can't find a clean-out PVC cover or cap on the tank or closer to the house. Wouldn't a house from 1994 have one in the ground?

There is no vent system that I can see anywhere in the yard. How does the tank breath if its not vented somehow?

I am thinking about having risers installed for easier access for maintenance. When this happens I would like to have a septic company at the same time, install a PVC riser or connection for my RV so I can use it to dump the holding tank ( black tank, sometimes gray ). Both tanks are 30 gallons so not a lot. Is there any need to be concerned about that inrush of water getting back into the house? Providing the system is not completely full of water of course which it should not.

This tank has little to no information provided by the seller. All I know is the tank is a 1000 Gallon PreCast Concrete tank. It says on an inspection form from 1996 that theres 135 feet of trench, 3 feet wide. Dept of base under tile 6 inches, Dept of material over tile 3 inches, Dept of ordinary backfill 18 inches. Distance from house is 10 feet. I wish I had a diagram of its layout. I believe it is a single tank system.

I assume theres 135 feet of leech lines?

I only see two access lids, is this all that I should be finding or is there another, possibly a vent that is buried based on the pictures? Some places are 5 inches of dirt, some less.

Any insight would be helpful.. I can't find any older photos of what the tank-top should look like on a 1994 Concrete cast tank. I am in South Texas, so theres no basements here. Just sand.

The tank seems to be ROUND construction based on my probing of the grass around it. The last picture seems to indicate a round edge.. I couldn't find the house pipe where it exited the house at all.

Should I be looking for a third cover or access point?
