Seat - reseat or replace? Is this too far gone?

Hi all - anyone with some insight? I've ground it down slightly with a hand tool - I think it's just gouged - not cracked through - should I keep grinding? Or try and replace this with a seat replacement kit. (I think we call them hydroseal - it adds a thread and the new seat screws down onto that ...thanks in advance!! Screenshot_20240802_143253.jpg
 
If I could get the original seat then I would go that way.
