Radiator sheilds heat reflectors

So been reading that radiator shields help heat loss by preventing heat from going through the walls.

Wonder whats available out there? And your thoughts on putting one of theses behind the radiator after cut to size.

Just came across this product which I believe is Mylar.

The material used needs to be rated for the temps you will be using it for. A heat shield for a radiator, I would think should be aluminum or galvanize sheet metal with an air gap.

So I went ahead and asked the manufacturer with the limitations of this product and if it can handle the 180 degrees I had asked about. It met my requirements and I placed an order.

Its thick aluminum/Mylar on each side with an air barrier in the middle and highly reflective. It cuts with ease and no mess and very easy to tuck in. Was also the exact height as my radiators at 24"

This beats other ideas I had and thicker type of barriers which I found out on some radiators that I had no room for, as the radiator almost touches the baseboards. This easily tucked in and highly flexible. Ordered it from Lowes and arrived in 2 days.
