delta spout reinstall help

Hello,
I took off a delta tub spout and how I have no idea how to put it back. I tried various combinations but the water links from place where it shouldn't. I can not figure out how to put it back together. I am hoping you could help. I have attached several photos so you can see what I am working with.

Professionally, we NEVER use copper tube tub spouts...only threaded nipple spouts, which are more reliable.

The metal spout should unscrew from the white plastic assembly inside the spout. Once that assembly is out of the spout, it must be put back on the copper pipe, properly, and then the spout screwed back onto the plastic piece against the tile on the back wall. Youtube can probably help with videos.
