Question if OK to use autoshut with hammer for washing machine.

After a major leak, I want to add a water leak auto shut off for my washing machine. A hammer is being used and unsure if it's OK to add an auto shut? Any Problem?

Will work fine. It would be best if the hammer arrestor is ahead of the automatic valve. But, since in theory the automatic valve only closes in a leak, either setup will be fine.
