I've repaired one before. Simply took out the old broken handle and screw, put on new handle and screw, DONE. There was NO water shooting out of the handle.
Trying the same repair at my mother's, when I go to take the handle off, water is going everywhere. I'm a newbie, not a pro, so don't be too mean lol
But WHY the difference? I assume I'll need to have the water supply to the house shut off in order to change out the handle?
Thanks for all knowledge in advance!
