Kitchen Sink PVC line help.

Water is coming up at the top of the connection for a while now. What is needed to fix this? Water is where the brown crud is on top.

Here's another one.

Unscrew the nut, slide the washer under the nut up and then clean and inspect it.

If the washer is intact, use some pipe dope and drive it into the joint nice and sloppy. Then slide washer back down and snug the nut up hand tight then a nudge with pliers.

Maybe the drain is clogged and the tube is filling up with water.

It's been doing it for a while now, water goes down fine in the sink.
