Hot Water Mystery

So I have very hot water coming out of the cold side of my faucets. I don't know what could be causing it.

Oh, and the hot water heater has been off for over a month.

I am clueless, as to what could be causing the water to heat up?

Any ideas??

Well, the home was built in 2002 on a slab foundation. The lines are copper, I don't think they would be running through the attic.
