Delta R10000 with R11000 diverter and the tub spout diverter combination

Hello,

Can I combine Delta R10000 with R11000 and the tub spout diverter? I am thinking of adding a hand shower via R11000 and to use a tub diverter as well. Will this setup work?
This is a bathroom renovation project.
I am not a plumber.

Yes but the 2 or 3 function r11000 will do nothing until you pull the spout diverter then water will be sent from the r10000 to the r11000 where you can then direct it to the 2/3 functions you’ve chosen to install for the r11000 to control.
