I have a cast iron tub and trap got clogged so I cut galvanized drain line on one side. When I did the other side of trap near drain fell out. It looks like it was just shoved up in there because it had a washer that couldn’t connect because there was threads on both sides. I tried new pvc trap but it’s threaded on both sides tub drain and new trap.So what do I need to make this work and connect to Franco going to septic drain?

Typically there are internal fine threads in that brass tee. The piece that goes in there is called a "threaded tailpiece", the size is 1-1/2". Plumbing shops have them.
The threads get joint compound (we always use Teflon tape and joint compound). The female threads inside the tee need to be cleaned up completely before you start.
Alternatively, you can use an unthreaded tailpeice and a 1-1/2" brass slip joint nut and square-cut rubber washer.

Thank you. Yes I just figured out about the unthreaded tail piece. Can I use pvc with the washer to connect to the brass?

Made for a sink but will work for your application to connect to the brass tub waste tee. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...rain-Tailpiece-Extension-Tube-C9803/205153885

Think of this job as connecting a sink and the brass tub tee threads are just like a sink basket outlet. Pipe it just like that.

Thank you. This is the exact list I came up with. Now you just confirmed it I appreciate it.

What if I need a little more length then the tail piece gives me? Can I attach a coupling and a piece of 1 1/2 before the p trap and glue it into there?

So it goes, brass washer to tailpiece and then tailpiece to extension and then extension to p trap on non flared side glued into Ptrap?

Those 'tubular' parts are not glue type. (Made of polyethelyene which doesn't work with solvent cement).
Either slip joint fittings or Fernco type no-hub mechanical couplings which are made in many sizes.
