We are roughing in a basement bathroom and I need help with venting. It will be very difficult to attach to a stack, so I am looking at AAVs and alternative options. Essentially, unless we rip out walls and go all the way to the ceiling with a new vent, I am left with two options: (1) AAVs, or (2) connecting to an undersized 2" vent. Or maybe a combination of the two?
I've included a diagram of what currently exists in the basement rough-in, and would love any thoughts / opinions / direction on what would make sense to complete this!
