Please see the attachment while noting I'm not an artist nor plumber. I'd like to find out if I'm going to be legal or what it will take to make it legal.
On the 1st floor sketch, will there be a problem with the shower drain being so close to the vertical stack. Please note, there is a toilet (there for years) next to the vertical stack. Does the shower need to be vented? Can I use a Studor vent? The current toilet appears to be wet vented through the stack going upstairs then into and through the attic.
On the 2nd floor sketch, I want to add a shower and a new toilet which will flow towards the rest of the established plumbing system. I'm guessing since the shower is at an end-run, it will need a vent. If needed, can I use a studor vent. Will the rest of the system be okay if using the current vent system (3-inch pipe going through attic).
At the 90-degree elbow, I plan to replace it with a Wye (there is another Wye already there) that would drain the tub and the new 3-inch waste line (shower toilet, and sink). The current 2-inch line that drains the sink will be cut and capped.
