I've read that removing the flapper and drying it off or using a new one and putting a little Silicone Grease on it and on the top of the stack, where the flap seals, can help it seal better. Does anyone know if this ever works? I don't want to waste my time trying it if it's just a joke YouTube moneymaker. I do already have a little Silicone Grease that someplace talked me into putting on the sensitive globe light bulb's threads in my bathroom to make them easier to remove years later when they've burned up.
