Hi, I am trying to reduce the water pressure from 80 PSI to around 55-60 PSI on my 1996 Manufactured Home that is piped with PB piping with the brass fittings and crimp rings.

Current water feed to the house is 3/4 inch black poly pipe. I measure 80 PSI static pressure and have a flow rate of 10 GPM when measured witht the bucket test at an outdoor faucet. I have purchased a Zurn 3/4 inch regulating valve with an adjustment range of 15 to 75 PSI. Model # NR3XL.

Will this valve be the proper size for my application? I am looking to reduce my feed pressure down about 20 PSI to 60. I think this will help to prolong the service life of my Polybutelene plumbing and fittings and also help with whistling shower heads etc. I have had NO issues to date with any of my plumbing or fittings leaking.

Any and all advice is appreciated!
