What is a closet carrier?

Hello I work for an online retailer and we are expanding into plumbing. It is my job to handle all plumbing data. I do not know what a lot of the products are, and some I cannot find suitable explanations for online.

"Closet carriers" is one such word. I can't find what they are or what they do. I need to know this in order to know how to categorize it. There is just no definition online.

It's for wall hung toilets. Usually like the ones that are in commercial buildings with a sloan type flush valve. Zurn, JR Smith are two of your manufacturers on these.

That is correct. I mean.... you have to start somewhere? Fortunately knowing about the products isn't necessarily my job so long as I can get everything up and running. Since it's online it's mostly up to the customer to know what they are looking at, but I guess the customer support center needs to know about it. Not sure how that works though.

I work in plumbing wholesale. The general public 9x out of 10 does not know what they need. Hell some of the contractors don't know. Good luck.
