I just wonder about needing "Amazon Prime" since I can get my stuff for free within 2-3 days without paying the fee?
I swear, my GF has a spot in our driveway reserved just for the Amazon van. The delivery driver should just move in for as much time as she spends at our house during the week, minimum of four times if it's a slow week. My GF is so hooked on Amazon that the Prime membership wasn't good enough so she upped it to the business account. I don't understand it, I am just glad she is blowing her own money and not mine! LOL

For myself and the extra expense of the membership, I cant justify having Amazon Prime for what little I buy from Amazon. If a person was to use it like my GF, sure then it pays for itself in no time. I will say with the business account I have noticed that you can get some really good deals from time to time.

One thing I do like about Amazon is their 30 day return policy. If you can find a Amazon drop location the return shipping is free.

What really bites is Amazon's 2 day delivery... that's a joke now. You never know when something
Is comming. 2 can turn into 3 or more.
Oh boy you got me going now…
I order a LOT of things from Amazon. The latest was half sheet shipping labels I needed this past weekend.
There were a lot to choose from. I ordered a pack last Tuesday 1/21 and upon ordering it said delivery on Friday, 1/24. They had not arrived by mid afternoon so I checked, and Amazon said still, for delivery today. At 8 pm with no delivery, I checked again, and now it said vaguely, “delivery January 24-28”. So I went back to Amazon late Friday night, ordered an identical product, about the same price—and it was delivered Saturday morning, before I finished my coffee.

With prices so similar on nearly identical items, they lure you in on delivery dates then change them along the way. I did attempt to cancel delivery of the first package, but it still may come in which case I’ll go through the return process.

Once in a while I'll say I don't want it, and they refund and then say just keep it.
The one that surprised me was the $200 ups that the box was punctured like they dropped it.
I couldn't believe they said to just keep it.

Was the UPS damaged by having a hole punctured in the box or being dropped? Oddly, I have had a similar experience with an APC SmartUPS 1000 refurb that was being sold on Amazon. The unit came to me with the outlets on the back of the unit punched out and would not stay in place. The vendor graciously sent me a replacement and told me to keep the first one for spare parts, etc. I fixed the first one and now I have two.

Actually , I didn't even open the box to look, I originally just wanted a replacement. But I had to call in and talk to a rep. When they answered the phone, the first thing out of thier mouth was, they would refund the money, and I could just keep it. And I could just reorder or buy something local. I said thank you very much, but the unit looks like new when opened. Not sure about if the mis handling caused any interior damage.
I won't be buying electronics from them anymore, you never know if it's been thrown, dropped or mishandled.

What part is the same?
I was referring to the quick returns and the 1-2 day shipping. I asked my neighbor to use his Prime Membership to order me a quart of algaecide for my pool. It was ordered Saturday afternoon, and was delivered at 4:30AM on Sunday. Well, that is pretty cool, but how many people will spend $175 a year to get a pool chemical at 0430 hours?
