South Alabama men don’t allow women to run the house. Do you read the Bible ?

Men who let women run their house can’t offend me in any way. They’ve lost before we started.

In all honesty,
In my house we are equals, helpmates to each other. We share in all things. What's mine is hers what's hers is mine. We run the house as a team.
There’s always going to be an imbalance of power, it’s never 50/50.

I ordered some fish eggs (Ikra, salmon roe) from the West Coast. It arrived early this morning packed in three pounds of frozen carbon dioxide or dry ice.

This amount of dry ice will sublimate and put up about 1000 liters of CO2 into the atmosphere. I am surprised the climate change fanatics aren't trying to shut this method of shipment down.

And now I'm off to have some fun with my dry ice!
Do not equate a climate change activist/cult member with intelligence!

To clarify about why my friend's wife is not getting the needed treatment-- its because the current anti-abortion laws are so asinine that doctors are afraid to do anything. It takes 3 doctors to approve of a procedure and they have to discuss and review all of the options because they don't want to get in trouble for doing it. The law does not differentiate between a viable fetus and nonviable fetus. It is not easy to get the approval to have a dead fetus removed since it is medically classified as an abortion. So, even if she went to a different doctor, the result would be the same. That doctor would still have to confer with other doctors and get approval from higher ups and have them all in agreement-- and communication is a problem around here.

She did get the bloodwork and she stopped throwing up. She felt like crap yesterday but did not throw up. I'm hoping that they can do something for her on Monday instead of making her wait until Tuesday-- although my friend said the doctor's still have to get together for their circle jerk and decide whether or not they will bother to help her. They get in less trouble if she dies from lack of treatment than if they do the abortion and the government disagrees with their decision.

My cats run my house. LOL.

Yesterday I attempted to move an old large pillowtop mattress from in front of the sliding glass door outside but the handle on it ripped, one of the things I used to try to pull it broke, another one flew off and disappeared, etc. Called it a day bc I lost daylight and was frustrated. This morning I got up around 6:20am because I had an epiphany. Used different tie downs and a different connection method and it worked. Got the mattress down near where the old pond used to be. Then I emptied out the old freezer and unplugged it. Got rid of a bunch of empty cardboard boxes, moved furniture, and got the hand truck inside near the sliding glass door. I opened the sliding glass door to make sure it still worked but it won't close all the way. It gets stuck about 1/4" from closing and nothing seems to work when I try to push it. The glass is separating from the frame so that doesn't help. Need a new one and need a new sill. It has rotted the hell away. Oh, and I also put on a gardening glove and ripped out some weeds/blackberry vines, and broke off small branches of an aggressive tree that has been cut down multiple times and keeps growing back.

Waiting on my friend to wake up so we can go grab the new freezer.

Wow, you have been busy this morning.... and yes those laws are just pure stupid. If they have to have those laws, there should be allowances for different situations.

Some states have laws that make exceptions and clarify between viable and non-viable fetuses. Others do not. But hospitals are worried they will appear to be in the wrong and refuse to do stuff out of that fear. I spoke to the friend's wife today and she's doing better. She said that her doctor is being very understanding/sympathetic.

Finished taking out the trash shortly before I left to pick my friend up. The bag of stuff from the freezer was so heavy I couldn't lift it so I had to drag it. We popped in to a couple of stores to get stuff before getting the freezer. It's a big sucker. Too tall to fit under the eaves while in the back of my truck so my plan to back it right up to the door was thwarted. Removing the old freezer was a bear. It got stuck on a tree branch on the way out the door (although that branch saved dumbo cat Aminatu-- she ran directly under it as it was about to fall). I had to chase her off and I pushed on the branch to get it out of the way. Unfortunately, while rolling it away it damaged a couple of sections of siding on the house. But I have enough leftover pieces to replace them.

Friend hauled the old freezer down near the mattress. I woke my brother up to help get the new one in. He whined almost the whole time. While they were trying to get the new one through the door, i swept up the area where the old one had been. Floor is in bad shape there. Took my friend to get food and then took him to his house while my brother read the instructions, set the freezer to fast freeze, and put the handle on the door. Got home and that sucker was already extremely cold. Now I need to figure out the best setting for our foodstuffs and stock up.

Also talked to mom about replacing the sliding glass door. They have double pane with argon AND blinds for about $1200. Mom agreed that we should suck it up and hire a pro to install it though.
