Hahaha, I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it....I must say it is doing a fine job circulating the water heater....
- For a pump to do anything there needs to be a dedicated return line or
- a bridge ("Grundfos bridge") at the far fixture and in that case the entire job is a failure anyway.
The circ pump needs to be pulling water from the fixture that is taking too long, Install the Tee there from that fixture, and have it return to the inlet of the tank. You will also need to put a check valve on the cold so that you don't back feed the cold line. Right now the circ pump is setup incorrectly.Hello. I just had a water recirculation pump installed but I'm not sure it's correct. The end point takes about 2 minutes to get hot water so the pump was installed to fix that.
