Hi,
I just replaced a bulb in a Water Master WG-8 unit. I can't turn off the alarm now. Can't find a reset button anywhere, I must be looking straight at it! I had a pretty tough time even finding a bulb for this dinosaur, and I can't find any info about it on the web. Anyone here familiar with this?
The owners might be losing the house to foreclosure so don't want to upgrade, and a 8-month pregnant woman is living there so I really need to get this figured out as quickly as possible.

Not quit sure what you have , but if it has a bulb and a alarm it has power , try disconnecting & reconnecting the power to reset the electronic.

I tried that but still buzzes. Could there be something else wrong causing the alarm to not reset?

If the bulb was installed properly I'm not sure why it won't stop. Do they have a toll free number? I'd suggest calling them and see what they have to say. Or google it. You probably arent the first to encounter this.

Only thing I could find on the internet was the audible alarm may be due to lamp failure. So whether the bulb wasn't installed correctly or the bulb is malfunctioning. That's all I could find but I'd call the manufacturer and see what they say

As far as I can tell Water Master is no longer in business. My local plumbing supplier had a hard time tracking down the bulb. I'll go by the house today and see if one of the sockets isn't pushed in all the way.
