I purchased a house last week that has two 50 gallon electric water heaters, one of which needs to be replaced. The water heater that needs to be replaced has a specific valve connected at the water heater drain that has both a feed and return line running from the water heater to the geothermal HVAC heat pump. I can't seem to find a valve to replace the existing valve. I've seen it called a single-entry valve, but I can't find one for my application anywhere. It has a smaller diameter pipe inside the valve that feeds one fitting on the valve that the feed line is hooked up to and the other fitting on the valve allows "hot" water from the heat pump to back feed the water heater around the outside of the pipe inside the valve. Does anyone another name for this type of valve, know where I can find one, or is this something I have to hobble together with fittings? Screenshots are from a Youtube video, my hot water heater is in a old crusty crawl space, hence no pictures at the moment.
