I have water at the well head but no water is making it to the house. The pressure in the well is excellent. No leaks, with only the house valve open the pump does not run. I can hook a hose from the same well {different valve} to a hose and run it back into the house thru an outside bib and the water flows thru all faucets in the house. I am thoroughly perplexed.

Do you have any type of filter, or check valve, or anything else in between the well head and the house? Obviously, something in between is blocking the water from getting to the house.
Thanks for the reply. There isn't anything that I am aware of in between the well head and the house. We are in the process of finishing an addition on the home but plumbing has been done for quite a while. Part of the house is on pier and beam an we were able to check the new connection between the old and new plumbing. the odd part is that everything was working well then day before yesterday the water just quit. I ask the worker if anyone had to mess with the plumbing and no one had.
Phish and I being in Florida don't think much about freezing pipes, but it sounds to me like you may have one.
