Washroom locations in a house?

Hi, I'm working a model project of a house for school and it's going to include actual systems such as the electrical and plumbing system. So far, I've been trying to search across the internet as to where washrooms should be placed in a house and I can't really seem to find what I'm looking for. I know that knowing more about the plumbing system will defneitely help, but I can't seem to find any site where it explains it well either. If anyone can answer my first question or give me a link to good site explaining plumbing systems, I
would really appreciate it.

If by washroom your referring to a toilet and sink. They a usually placed in the living area of the home, and full bathes with a tub or shower are usually closer to the bedrooms.
