I have an old sink that needs to be mounted, but I can’t figure out what sort of bracket this wants. There’s no mounting notches on the back, but there are these two slots on the underside at the back. I’ve been looking around for something right, but no luck yet. I have two chrome legs for the front, that parts easy. Any ideas?

i would get a nice vanity, unless you have wood backing in the wall nothing but the drain will hold that up, I'm guessing those slots were for legs possibly or a wall carrier, not worth looking thought unless your stuck with it

I’m definitely stuck with it and I’m rebuilding the wall behind it so i can get wood backing in there. Just thinking about what bracket would do the job. Cant find a leg, New or old, that would fit that slot.

I think you're best off fabricating a pair of wall brackets.
You could modify a pair of good quality screw-to-wall shelf bracket, cutting "shelf" end short, and/or maybe bending up at 90 degrees to fit in slot. Too bad I can't draw what I'm seeing for you... or maybe I can more or less

i got an idea from rickk try 7/8 unistrut and l brackets.....if you don't know what it is look it up i still think you may need support from the front to the floor but it will never move

It had R/L wall brackets with a fitting especially made for that type of sink.
And adjustable height legs with a pin that kept the legs located.
Also I've seen console leg setups for that also.
I've dealt with quite a few of them: Removing, on their way out of the house during demo.
In Berkeley, CA these guys can help: Custom Work - The Sink Factory
Hope you have lots of money to waste.

Maybe add or make two extra brackets to grab the back side of the porcelain, behind the faucet.
At the far edges of the cutout.

It looks like it would be fairly easy to fabricate some brackets if you can't find any.
