Using compression fittings in laundry room

I plan on changing the taps in my laundry room (to both the washing machine & laundry tubs).

Is it OK to use compression fittings for both washer & tub connections? The fittings are currently soldered but I don't really trust my soldering skills when it comes to plumbing.

If the fittings are not in a concealed location, compression fittings are allowable under the code in use in my area. In my experience, compression fittings do have a higher leakage rate than solder joints, but as long as they are not subjected to frequent or heavy stress, anotherwords, being twisted or bowed, they are acceptable in an open and accessible location.

You could use compression fittings. But soldering is not that hard to do. It is a very useful skill to have. If not for this project but for future ones. If you would like some pointers on soldering there are many people on this forum that will help you.
