Hello I'm new here.

I'm trying to tie into a small section of 1.5" cast iron pipe. It's a plumbing vent pipe. like i said i don't have much room. Do they make a saddle fitting for metal pipe like that?

I look forward to your answers! Thanks!

I will add a picture tonight. If it is steel. Do you know of something I can do?

Here is my situation. It's my bathtub drain then a vent on top. I need to tie into that vent

The vent is the top obviously. The picture just uploaded weird and needs to be flipped to the right

you are wanting to tie another vent into that vent?

you can not do that. against code. you can not tie anything into that vent, intill the pipe is 6'' apove the top of the tub.

then you can tie into it

Thanks. I live in Kentucky. What are the rules for hooking into the main waist line? Can I do what's in the picture except for a double y? One side would be the discharge and the other side would be a clean out. And the discharge line is only 1 inch. So I would have to reduce the opening to accept the I inch discharge from the toilet

I'm hooking up a saniflo toilet in the basement. I guess I will run a vent pipe on the outside of the house.

Thanks again

Could someone please also help me with this? Is this ok to do?

Thanks

no, you cant hook up a basement vent to a 1st floor drain.

i thought i made this clear already

NO, the second picture i added is for the toilet discharge! I was wondering if that's was an ok way for hooking into the main waste line

Thanks

You did .
I think he was asking a different question.

I don't know of any reason why you could not use a double fixture tee to connect your discharge and use the other branch as a cleanout

Thought he made that pretty clear as well. ;)

The saniflo toilet will hook up below all of the other plumbing. It will be the lowest connection on all my plumbing. It will be on the main vertical 4 inch pipe. I was just making sure adding the double y with the no hub connectors is ok to do.
