Why do they all sit on 4”-5” legs? It adds height to the rim which is a safety issue, getting in and out. Also seems like the tub bottom resting in the floor would be stronger. Any thoughts?

I myself would rather have a Japanese soaking tub, which sits on the ground, and uses less water. By the way...Welcome to the forum!
